Victoria Beckham is Number One

This year belongs to Posh. She moved to the US. She started a hair craze. She is a mother of three boys and makes it look good. She has tattoos. She knows that sunglasses are the key to every outfit. She can make that green flap dress at the bottom look good. She is amazing.

Number 2 of 2007

Stylewise, this year was a huge year for Katie Holmes. She's gone from awkwardly bland to style icon. Most are giving Katie's new BFF Victoria Beckham credit for her makeover. Others say it started with her new haircut. I don't care what it was, but she looks great. Katie has become extremely stylish this year and quite the girl on the go often being seen out with her adorable daughter Suri. She makes moms look good in these blue plaid pants and looks completely put together in the trench and red heels getup. People magazine is calling her the new Jackie O. I think it's her signature oversized sunglasses she is never seen without. I loved Katie's newly matured style and think she always looks super classy.

Top 3 of 2007

Now, I have some major internal strife with putting Jennifer Lopez as Number 3 on my top 10 simply because of my genuine adoration for this woman, but I feel the top 2 have each had a more significant year than JLo in '07. However, she is still fabulous in all that she does and wears. Jennifer Lopez is the ultimate fly girl who is completely comfortable in her own skin. Her maternity wardrobe has been striking so far, and it can only get better. She can rock a floppy hat and a risque outfit such as the gypsyesque look she's wearing with the wide leg trousers, patterned top and metallic bag. She looks beautiful in the natural colored shimmery dress with her husband and baby daddy Marc Anthony. (thank god she finally found a settled man who allows her to be the beautiful one in the relationship!) My favorite outfit of Jennifer's this year is also my least favorite. The hooded number that she wore to the VMAs was kind of crazy and not really my taste, but I read an interview with JLo in which she was given the opportunity to explain "bad outfits" from her past. The interviewer brought up this outfit, and she something along the lines of, "that outfit? that was hot! i loved that one. i have nothing to say about it!" I think it's really awesome that someone can wear an outfit and not be embarrassed regardless of how everyone else in the world feels about it.

Gwen Stefani is Number Four

She is number four because her style is a sweet escape. In a time where sophistication in style is emphasized, it's nice to see someone really stepping outside the box and going a little edgier. She has glammed up and parted from her punk rock, pink-hair style and begun to stick to a platinum blonde. The hair and her signature red lipstick look stunning with all the black and white that make up her wardrobe, and she knows the power of a dark pair of sunglasses. My favorite outfit of Gwen's is the leopard print dress she wore during her pregnancy. Gorgeous!

Number 5

Kate Hudson is number five because she has kind of a hippie style of glamorous. She always looks happy, natural but extravagant. She wears lots of dresses, and I don't usually like fur, but her white coat is perfect with the white dress underneath and the boots. And I don't know many people who could pull off the silver outfit below.

My Pick for Six

Cameron Diaz.

This pink ruffled dress that Cameron wore to the Costume Institute Gala is the reason she is on my list. The color is beautiful on her, and the turquoise necklace and earrings are the perfect accessory for the outfit. As far as the rest of her style goes, her casual looks are just as cute as her red carpet get ups. I like that she doesn't take herself too seriously and allows herself to wear outfits that show off her personality. And of course, there's the smile that goes on with every outfit.

Number Seven

Rachel Bilson

She's my number seven because she's beyond adorable and, well, I loved The OC. Unlucky for me, it was canceled this year. But Rachel remains stylish without the stylists so she is able to make my list. I respect her ability to dress down and still look good. It also seems like she has the ultimate say in her wardrobe. For example, she's actually wearing the black dress backwards because she thought it looked better that way. That's awesome. Another thing that draws me to Rachel's wardrobe, is that like myself, she appears to be a big fan of teal. So naturally I'm drawn to her outfits.

PS...her dog is named Thurmen Murmen...how great is that?!
